Personal Ministry Training

Evangelism Training

Are you sometimes lost for words when explaining to your non-Christian friends what you believe as a Christian? If so, this is the course for you.

It runs over a period of 4 weeks, covering topics such as: What is evangelism? Why does it matter? Whose job is it? Helpfully, it also examines how to move conversations on to the gospel, and how to answer tough questions.

To find out more or book onto the next course, contact Mark O'Donoghue

Christianity Explored

Would you like to lead a Bible study on Mark's gospel to people investigating the claims of Jesus? If so, why not come along to see how this is done. Part of the training will involve listening to the Christianity Explored talk, and seeing the course in action. You will also learn how to answer people’s tough questions in a Christ-centred way.

1-2-1 Training

Many of us can testify to the impact that meeting up to read the Bible with another person has had on our lives. Reading the Bible 1-2-1 is a brilliant way to grow in our relationship with Jesus, as well as to help someone with questions explore Christianity, or help a younger Christian grow in their love for Jesus.

This course is designed to train people in both the rationale and practicalities of 1-2-1 work, and to see how we may be involved in such a vital ministry.

Word on the Street

The task of getting the gospel out to the City is urgent. Thousands around us are unaware of the great news of the gospel. As a result, they are heading for judgment without the rescue that Christ alone provides. Therefore, a group of us occasionally go out into streets of the Square Mile with questionnaires and leaflets, seeking people’s views on life.

In so doing, we often have natural gospel opportunities with people who may never have been to church. This is also a low key way to raise our profile in the City, and serves to strengthen our own confidence in the gospel as we engage in sharing it with others.
