While you are studying in London, we would love to welcome you into our church family. Find out more about being a student at St Helen's.
We think getting to know Jesus is the best way to make the most of your time in London. Whether you’re encountering Jesus for the first time, or deepening your relationship with him, we would love for you to visit us as St Helen's and get involved.
We know that it can be quite difficult to walk into a new church if you don’t know anyone. So if you would like, we would love to meet you beforehand and spend some time getting to know you better. Email Tim for more information.
Being a student at St Helen's means you are part of the student community within our church family, with many opportunities to build genuine and Christ-centred friendships. Our Facebook page has more information on things going on. Every week, as students we get together a number of times.
Sunday at 6pm
This is our main weekly meeting when we hear from God's word, sing, pray and have a chance to have a meal and chat together afterwards.
St Helen’s Bishopsgate, EC3A 6AT
Wednesday small groups at 7.15pm
We eat together and then study the Bible in groups of 8–12 students before responding to God in prayer. This is a great opportunity to dig deeper into what God has to say to us.
St Peter-upon-Cornhill, EC3V 3PD
Everything kicks off with our welcome party at the start of the academic year. It is a great evening to get to know other students, hear a talk about making the most of your time at university and enjoy a free meal.
This is a weekend of talks and activities based in and around St Helen's, to help us think through some of the essentials of the Christian life. It is a great way to get to know other students and invest in existing relationships. For many people, it is a highlight of their time at St Helen's.
We spend four days away from London in the countryside, getting to know each other and having fun together. We spend our time hearing God speak through the Bible and enjoying the great outdoors (or the great indoors, if you prefer!)
The world is so confused about sex, and what it means to be men and women. Each February we set aside a Saturday to get together separately as lads and girls, hang out together, and carefully apply the Bible's teaching on gender, sexuality and relationships.
Exams are over and the summer is here—time for the highlight of the year! A few days out of London in smaller groups, deeply investing in friendships and taking time to carefully think over some of the most life-changing teaching God has to give us.
What better way is there to finish the year than to get together as a whole student family and enjoy a barbecue? This is a great chance to encourage each other before leaving London for the summer.
