The gospel we were waiting for

The unique privilege of every Christian is to be able to call ourselves heirs of all God's promises. This privilege comes by faith alone, in Christ alone, through God's promise alone. Throughout our lives the temptation will be presented to us to think that we have to add our own works back into this mix. Should we do that, we will end up impoverished and enslaved.
