When the religious grumble

There is a spiritual disease as debilitating and damaging as any global pandemic. Older brother syndrome is the attitude of graceless anger and envy which comes from a sense of having earned God’s favour. It produces self-absorption, entitlement and a deep disdain for others. In this sermon, we shall explore the symptoms, the nature of those most vulnerable to catching this disease and its treatment.
