The Christian’s fight: life implanted, battle joined

Why does the Christian life always feel like a battle? Because the radical work of the Holy Spirit has enabled them to swim against the tide of the world and not float with it. This is the mark of a Christian. Through God's work alone, through Jesus on the cross, the Christian is regenerated, resurrected, recruited, and adopted into God's family.
