Philippians 2:25-4:1

Earthly gain or resurrection glory?

Advancing the gospel is difficult because it means giving up earthly gain. Sometimes, it’s so difficult it makes us wonder whether it’s worth it. Yet, in this passage, Paul tells his readers that it’s worth giving up earthly gain for resurrection glory with Jesus. Paul’s words to the Philippians encourage us today to stand firm in advancing the gospel, even to the point of giving up our lives.
