The worst of churches: not like ours?

The world’s desire for self-promotion had crept into the Corinthian church in the form of boasting in their leaders. This boasting was a symptom of losing sight of God’s grace to his church through the work of Jesus. Paul wants us to remember God’s grace towards us so that we are a church shaped by the gospel and not by self-promotion.
