Foolish power: the weak cross

Why would God deliberately design his rescue in a way that would seem foolish to the world? Doesn't that make it harder for people to come to him? Yet, God’s verdict on all human wisdom is 'foolishness'. A humbling verdict, yet crucial for our mindsets as we understand the dangers of worldly thinking.
