In a world that outwardly values peace and happiness, why do we see anger and violence all around us? And why do religious issues cause so much violence? The account of the first religious murder in Genesis 4 tells us the answer. God’s word makes sense of God’s world–and without Genesis 4 we will always find ourselves uninformed about the root of conflict.
