Jesus and death

Jesus displays his authority over death through his own resurrection and by bringing other people back to life. He's able to reverse the irreversible, simply by speaking. This makes Jesus, who is full of compassion, strangely frightening. Those who have witnessed his supernatural power could never describe him as ‘merely a person of interest’.
