How can we reassure a wobbly heart? In 1 John 3, John seeks to reassure these wobbly Christians by applying the word of God to them. Even if their hearts are knocked about, God’s word in Genesis assures them that Abel-like Christians really are in God’s family and enjoy the joyful confidence that belongs to all God’s children.
