Where is renewal going to come from? Whether within the church, or within the wider culture, we can see the urgent need for renewal. 1 Samuel 8—11 helps us to see where it will come from. Renewal cannot come from compromising with or stepping towards the world. Renewal will only come by the Spirit and the power of the kingdom of God.
