What do we need to know in order to be able to act wisely? In 1 Samuel 25, Abigail teaches us the key to wise action: rock solid confidence that the LORD will give the kingdom to his anointed. This confidence frees us from feeling we need to do the wrong thing in order to succeed, but more than that it compels us to make peace with Jesus whilst we can.
