The word that cannot be thwarted

It can sometimes feel that big cities, where voices are so loud and excesses so grotesque, are impenetrable for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not so! Paul’s ministry in Corinth shows the gospel truth of Jesus Christ triumphing in one of the biggest and most pagan cities of his time. What does it take for the gospel of Jesus to take hold in the most hostile of environments?
