The king David declared

Jesus' skill in debate leaves his listeners marvelling and astonished, and his opponents silenced. He emerges victorious as he shows himself not only to understand God’s revelation better than all who approach him, but also to be the whole purpose at the centre of God’s revelation. Those who oppose him are unable to please God and will be judged.
