Daniel 2:1-49

God’s indestructible dominion

Daniel 2:1–49 contains a contest between two types of wisdom: the wisdom of the world and its experts, and the wisdom of God. It shows us that God’s wisdom triumphs, because only God can reveal the future, and only God’s kingdom rules the future. Every other kingdom is a footnote in his story. Therefore, it is wise to keep resisting the world and its pressure to conform, even though it may be costly.
