Galatians 4:1-11

The gospel makes us heirs

There are two ways of persuading a person not to revert to old, unsatisfactory paths. One is to point out the inadequacies of the old paths. The other is to extol the superiority of the new. In order to persuade his readers not to revert, Paul does both. It should leave us delighting in what Jesus has accomplished!
